and lessons for later dissemination.
Educational activities :
RDF's activities in ICH safeguarding often include educational initiatives aimed at raising awareness
and transmitting knowledge to younger generations. By organizing workshops, training programs, and educational campaigns,
RDF ensures the transmission of traditional knowledge and skills to young community members.
This strengthens intergenerational bonds, promotes cultural continuity, and fosters a sense of pride and appreciation for one's heritage.
Promotion of ICH :
The Rural Development Fund (RDF) engages in ICH safeguarding activities that promote and
enhance cultural diversity, particularly through their recent project focused on the preservation and
dissemination of the cultural practice of "Bata" as a significant aspect of the Kyrgyz people's
spiritual and cultural heritage. The project, launched in May 2021, aims to instill respect for the
history and traditions of the Kyrgyz people among the younger generation.
International Cooperation :
By collaborating with neighboring countries and international organizations,
RDF promotes mutual understanding, appreciation, and respect for diverse cultural practices.
This enhances social cohesion, fosters cross-cultural understanding, and contributes to peaceful coexistence within and between communities.
