Group Introduction
Art for Life: Contact Base Contact Base is an Indian NGO that is engaged in various domestic and international activities to protect India's traditional arts. This organization pays attention to living arts to overcome the difficulties of the vulnerable, such as artists and communities who protect traditional arts. It was approved as a UNESCO-accredited NGO in 2010, and is currently carrying out capacity-building activities for more than 30 craft groups and 28,000 traditional dancers in the East India region as an activity for the protection of intangible heritage in India. In addition, it has been recognized for its contributions to the community, such as intangible cultural heritage inventory, documentation, and transmission education, and has received various awards.

Educational activities  Providing more than 14 ICH educational spaces, creating community curriculum.
Promotion of ICH  Folk art center operation, artist performance support, various intangible cultural heritage data.
